Our Experience

The Simmons family started it's adventure in Port Mansfield many many moons ago! Bud & Thelma came here before there were any paved roads in this town. Marlin Marine was the first place they learned that this was the life for them. Soon after, they went into partnership with the Port Mansfield Marina. Soon to follow was their son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Sybil, running the Y-Knot II to supply bait to them and whomever they could sell it to! Soon enough, saving up & purchasing the land that Harbor Bait & Tackle now incompasses. Sybil decided to go into the Rental Management business in 2007 & has grown it to what it is today. We have grown with our customer base seeing that we have been in business for over 35 years. Many will start the story..."I've known you since you were this big!"
